Broker Partner Program

The HRIS your clients won't blame you for.

Tallo is a broker-first HRIS + benefits admin platform built for the groups your book actually runs on — with native payroll integrations so census, enrollments, and deductions stay in one place. Designed around how brokers distribute software, not retrofitted from a direct-to-employer product.

Why brokers partner with Tallo

A platform built around your book of business.

Broker-first console

See every client in a single view. No per-tenant login shuffle, no spreadsheet to remember who's on what plan.

Clean benefits sync

Built around carrier EDI and 834 files from day one — not bolted on after launch.

Revenue share + co-brand

Real partner economics, not a referral kickback. Co-branded console and client portal available.

Right-sized for your book

Rippling is overkill, Gusto leaves you blind. Tallo is built for the groups your book actually runs on.

You stay the trusted advisor

We won't go around you to your clients. Every renewal conversation runs through your team.

Real partner support

A named partner manager, joint pipeline reviews, and roadmap input that actually ships.

The problem you already know

The hidden tax on every renewal.

Most of your book runs on three or four systems that don't talk to each other — a benefits admin tool, a payroll provider, an HRIS your client maybe uses, and a spreadsheet your team maintains in the gaps. Every renewal, every new hire, every life event becomes a reconciliation job.

Tallo collapses HRIS and benefits admin onto one census, and integrates with the payroll system your client already runs — one source of truth, no double entry.

  • The census drift

Headcount in benefits admin stops matching payroll by week three of every month. Your CSR is the one who finds it.

  • The EDI file that broke at 11pm Sunday

And the carrier won't process Monday's enrollments until somebody fixes it.

  • The paycheck question you can't answer

Client emails "why doesn't my deduction match my election?" — and your team opens three tabs to figure it out.

What partners commit to

  • One intro call (15 min) + one discovery session (45 min)
  • Name a partner lead on your side for the relationship
  • Identify 2–3 client groups that make sense for early rollout
  • Quarterly business review with your Tallo partner manager

What partners get

  • Tiered revenue share on every group placed on Tallo
  • Co-branded broker console + client portal
  • Named partner manager and shared Slack channel
  • Priority carrier integration requests
  • Joint marketing support and case study opportunities

What partnership actually looks like

Your first 90 days as a Tallo partner.

  1. 1

    Week 1

    Kickoff call

60-minute working session to map your book, your carriers, and the 2–3 client groups that make sense for early rollout.

You walk away with: A written rollout plan you can take back to your team.

  2. 2

    Month 1

    First groups live

We stand up your broker console, wire up carrier feeds, and onboard your first groups together — you're never doing implementation alone.

You walk away with: Live clients on the platform and a renewal story to tell.

  3. 3

    Month 3

    Expand the book

We review what's working from the first cohort and lock in the rollout cadence for the rest of your book.

You walk away with: A clear plan for the next wave of groups and a repeatable handoff your team owns.

Honest answers

What brokers ask before they say yes.

Do you sell direct?
Yes — Tallo sells direct to employers, but we don't go after our partners' clients. If a group is on your book, the renewal conversation runs through you. Written into the partner agreement.
We already have a benefits admin platform. Why add another system?
You're not adding one — you're consolidating. Most brokers we work with come in with a benefits admin tool, a separate HRIS the client barely uses, and a spreadsheet stitching it to payroll. Tallo replaces the HRIS and benefits admin with one census, and integrates with the payroll system your client already runs (we don't run payroll ourselves) so deductions, enrollments, and new hires stop drifting. Start with 2–3 groups, prove the workflow, then move the book at your pace.
How does the revenue share work?
Tiered share on every group placed on Tallo, paid for the life of the relationship. Specifics are walked through on the partner call so we can right-size to your book.
What does implementation look like for our clients?
We run it with you. Your partner manager scopes each group, we stand up the console and carrier feeds, and your team stays in the loop on every milestone. No surprise calls to your client.
Who's the right person on my team to start the conversation?
Whoever owns HRIS/tech partnerships or has decision authority on the firm's preferred vendor list. Usually a partner, head of benefits, or director of operations — not a producer or account manager.
